In October 2014, the Spitak Poultry Factory reopened in Spitak.
One of the largest poultry farms in the region had been operating in the area since 1961 before it was destroyed by the devastating earthquake in 1988.
The Spitak Poultry Factory was designed and built-in 2013 by specialists from Germany.
The farm is equipped with German “Big Dutchman” and Dutch “VDL” poultry technologies and accessories.
The service staff has passed all necessary qualification certifications.
Now it is not only the best in its field, but it also uses solar energy, increasing its savings by 33,000,000 drams per year, and reducing environmentally harmful CO2 emissions by up to 430 tons annually.
1368 JA Solar panels has been installed in the solar power plant each with a power capacity of 390 W.

18 inverters of the Austrian company Fronius have been installed in the system.
Fronius International is an Austrian company, a leading player worldwide. The company has international branches as well as sales representatives in more than 60 countries accompanied by 76 years of experience in the field.
EcoVille has been a Service Partner Plus of Fronius International since 2017.
As a result, our engineering team is certified to maintain and service Fronius inverters in the region. The average efficiency of inverters reaches up to 97-98%.
The total annual power output of the plant is 821․000 kWh.
