All solar systems work on the same principle. First, solar panels convert solar energy into direct current (DC), and the solar inverter converts it into alternating current (AC), which can be used in everyday life.
We present 3 types of solar invertors:
These systems do not need a battery because they work in combination with the electrical network.
These systems do not require a battery as they work in conjunction with the electrical grid.
The off-grid inverter, unlike on-grid one, is not connected to the main and works independently.
The hybrid solar inverter is the complete version of On-grid և Off-grid systems.
On-grid solar inverters are most commonly used in homes or businesses. These systems do not require a battery as they run on the main power.
Choosing this system will allow you to store the extra electricity produced by your power plant in the main for later use.
And thanks to the metering law in Armenia: “․․․ The consumer can supply the surplus electricity to the electricity network, take it during non-solar hours, selling the possible annual surplus to the electricity network at 50% of the current retail tariff.

The off-grid inverter, unlike on-grid one, is not connected to the main and works independently.
It has a battery in which the energy converted from the sun is accumulated, and in the absence of the sun the energy is automatically supplied from the battery.
These systems are used in such farms where there is no access to electrical network. Battery capacity is selected according to the required amount.
The hybrid solar inverter is a combination of On-grid & Off-grid systems.
By being connected to ENA and having an accumulator battery at the same time, it is able to supply the electricity received from the sun both to the electricity network and accumulate it in the battery.
In case of power failure, the electricity continues to be supplied from the battery.
These systems are designed for such economies where even temporary power outages are not desirable and can lead to significant financial losses.
