“Amber Capital” has invested $3 million in EcoVille, a diversified group of renewable energy companies operating in Armenia.
The proceeds from the investment will support an increase in the Group’s production capacity, which will allow EcoVille to expand its activities in the region and enter new markets such as electricity sales and electric mobility: The investments will also help EcoVille improve its environmental, social and corporate governance practices and create additional jobs not only in the capital, but also in various regions of Armenia.
Founded in 2015, EcoVille is one of the leading solar energy development companies in Armenia, with 180 employees in the country. The group's renewable energy projects have reduced carbon dioxide emissions in the country by 80,000 tons per year.
